DR. JENNNIFER HOWSON-JONES

Dr. Howson-Jones was born and raised in Langley, BC. Her elementary school, Langley Central Fundamental, gave her the foundation she needed for a lifetime of learning. Mountain Secondary would be her high school, where she loved science and music – what a combination! But it was her desire to help people that would point her towards the healthcare field and an after-school-job that would spark her interest in dentistry.

The following encompasses her credentials:
Bachelor of Science (Microbiology) – University of Alberta, 2004
Bachelor of Dentistry – University of Sydney, 2010
Diploma in Pediatric Dentistry – University of Alabama, 2012

Appointed as Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia, Dr. Howson-Jones is enjoying teaching final year dental students at their Douglas College satellite clinic. She plans to continue her involvement with UBC Dentistry as a chance to give back and inspire other young female dental professionals, and you may see a student in her office helping out from time to time.

Dr. Howson-Jones is happy to be back home in Beautiful British Columbia, connecting family and friends, whether it be to go camping, hiking, swimming or just enjoying a good book – family is paramount to who she is.
